Free Comic Book Day @ Brave New World in Newhall, California

Brave New World, run by the formidable team of Portlyn and Atom! Freeman, is my local shop, and an Eisner winner to boot.

Portlyn, Atom! and company -- meaning workers, family, and friends -- do a bang-up job on FCBD. The jump was jumping, and the checkout line was long! Icing on the cake was the fact that this was my freebie:

Kinda sorry I didn't get a chance to at least glance at that Lady Gaga comic...
